Must complete a NATOPS open book, closed book and boldface exam in appropriate aircraft and understand aircraft missions, crew procedures, communications procedures, tactics, curriculum change forms, and all Navy generated training publications, to achieve basic certifications
Conduct flight simulator training for Primary (T-6B) aircraft in all phases of training to include brief, debrief and associated paper work to complete all aspects of the students training requirements
Assist in maintaining and upgrading courseware and curriculum syllabi to include but not limited to Instructor lesson guides, simulator scenarios, computer based training, classroom lectures
Must be or have been a designated Military pilot in any aircraft with a minimum of one tour in flight status, a minimum of one thousand (1,000) flying hours and a Bachelor's Degree (BA)

A T-6 Contract Instructor must retain the certifications to be an instructor in Primary (T-6B) aircraft simulators

Remain current and certified in all phases of academic lectures and simulator training
Provide lectures in all areas and phases of the Primary aircraft training syllabus
