- Ensures airfield assigned personnel complete all airfield driver’s training and are fully prepared prior to sending to Base Operations for testing and issuance of a Certificate of Competency, AF IMT 483
- Identifies, documents, and tracks personnel requiring access to the Controlled Movement Area (CMA), non-CMA, or restricted airfield driving as applicable
- Ensures base personnel who are not trained and certified to drive at night have their AF IMT 483 indicate restricted access
- Conducts and documents practical day and night (as applicable) airfield familiarization training and practical driving tests on base personnel prior to issuance of an AF IMT 483
- Develops and maintains all course curriculum, give classroom instruction and maintain all airfield driving records for Base assigned personnel
- Ensures assigned personnel authorized to drive on the installation/facility have completed all the required training and AF IMT 483 is properly annotated
