- Directly assisting the Operating Physician with surgical tasks , including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure patient positioning
- Preparing the Operating Room and surgical instruments and equipment for use
- Utilizes critical judgement to analyze patient assessment data, completes a care pathway for each assigned patient and delegates patient care appropriately
- Implements individualized nursing interventions for each patient assigned
- Evaluates nursing care and modifies interventions based on the patient's response
- Consistently and accurately reviews and implements physicians orders
