  • Negotiate terms and conditions with carriers
  • Provide guidance to account team during coverage implementation
  • Identify opportunities and gaps in coverage

  • Ensure client deliverables are peer reviewed prior to delivery
  • Conduct benefit audit for prospects
  • Participate in formal presentations to prospective and current clients, as well as insurance vendors
  • Efficiently manage the utilization of company resources and talent
  • Develop mutually beneficial relationships with
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Advanced working knowledge of the employee benefits industry
  • Current resident-state license or ability to obtain same immediately
  • Substantial experience in marketing and servicing employer sponsored benefit plans
  • Demonstrate ability to instill confidence and comfort with clients so client looks to AE and to Lockton as more than just and insurance broker, but a partner in business
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or similar software applications
  • Ability to compile, analyze, and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Presentation Master
  • Personal presence to interface with top management of other businesses, representing Lockton in then highest professional manner
  • Demonstrated understanding of when to proceed alone and when to involve the Producer or others
  • Ability and willingness to proactively coach and mentor other Associates
  • Understanding and executing superior service and relationship in accordance with Lockton quality procedures and performance standards
  • Ability to provide clear direction and act as leader of account team
