To independently manage and ensure the timely completion of assigned clinical bioanalytical projects in support of company’s clinical studies
To be responsible for the management of the bioanalytical aspects for supporting multiple clinical development programs
To inspect and monitor bioanalytical contract research organizations (CROs) for compliance with SOPs and applicable FDA or global guidance
To work with the supervisor in defining the technical parameters and milestones for all outsourced clinical bioanalytical projects including method development, validation, and sample analysis
To assist in establishing and coordinating human ADME or cold metabolism studies with external CROs
To assist in coordinating internal bioanalytical activities. Work with external CROs and supervisor to develop and validate bioanalytical methods in human biological matrices
To be responsible for bioanalytical data and report review and ensure a high level of quality and timely delivery of bioanalytical study reports
To manage the successful implementation of validated bioanalytical methods at one or more CROs in support of all assigned clinical studies (including documentation of sample receipt and analysis)
To provide bioanalytical data and bioanalytical reports from clinical trials in a timely manner and assure that all bioanalytical quality control specifications as described in the validation protocol/ SOPs, and clinical timelines have been met. Assure compliance with applicable internal and external procedures/SOPs in supporting clinical studies
To prepare a bioanalytical database for standard pharmacokinetic analysis. Be responsible for quality assurance of the bioanalytical database and appropriate documentation
To learn up-to-dated development and advancement of novel instrumentation and technologies applicable for the field of bioanalytical sciences. Apply these advanced tools to our regional /global development projects
To represent clinical bioanalytical group at core team / operational team meetings
To work with CROs for biomarker assay support to clinical development programs
To assist the supervisor for the integration / harmonization in Clinical Bioanalytical Science discipline. To provide bioanalytical support to the global programs as needed
MS/PhD degree in analytical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis or related fields with
6+ years for PhD, or 10+ years for MS, of industrial experience in the bioanalytical LC-MS/MS method development, validation and sample analysis under GLP regulations and with a minimum of 3 years of bioanalytical project management experience are required
Bioassay experience will be a plus
Solid knowledge in the development and validation of bioanalytical LC-MS/MS methods
Extensive experience with HPLC, LC-MS/MS technology and associated computer softwares, along with a proven track record of successfully applying novel analytical concepts to the drug development process with an emphasis in dealing with the measurement of drug and its metabolite(s), and/or biomarkers in biological specimens such as plasma and urine etc
Extensive bioanalytical project management experience with the studies performed by selected external bioanalytical CROs
Must be familiar with GLP and GCP regulations, compliance, and FDA and global guidance for Bioanalytical Method Validation
Individual must be self-motivated and innovative
Able to work closely with CROs with moderate supervision
Excellent inter-personal skills are required since this individual will be working with scientists and managers from multiple disciplines as well as from different sites/labs. Customer and quality driven focus is a must
Work hours may include meetings scheduled outside of normal working hours
Occasional travel is required
