Teach students, faculty, staff, and administrators about the purpose and benefits of ePortfolios
Teach students how to use multi-modal/multimedia Web 2.0 and other platforms including Digication
Demonstrates a rational and organized approach to working with multiple stakeholders at a time in person, over the phone, and/or via email
Identifies and negotiates own ePortfolio development
Ability to work in as a team with other lab specialists, the ePortfolio Coordinator, and the General Education and ePortfolio director
Exhibits sufficient communication skills for effective dialogue with all stakeholders about the ePortfolio initiative
Able to plan, schedule, and monitor own work on short notice. Can absorb technical information when it is presented systematically and apply it effectively to help all stakeholders
Has excelled in at least twelve credit hours of college courses
Is proficient with all of the College’s former and current supported ePortfolio platforms
Has created and maintains a high-quality ePortfolio
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
Can learn new ePortfolio and other Web 2.0 platforms quickly (including Digication) and be able to explain them to all stakeholders, especially students at different levels of technological abilities
Good communications skills (written, oral, and visual)
Must be extremely customer-service oriented
Ability to work closely with team members and a variety of different stakeholders, often at once
Must be creative, flexible, and open-minded
Ability to learn ePortfolio and other Web 2.0 platforms and procedures quickly
Strong working knowledge of personal computers, including hardware setup/troubleshooting, software installation, and general maintenance
Strong understanding of the rationale behind ePortfolio pedagogy
Strong working knowledge of Internet browsers
Ability to work with PC and Mac platforms
