- Discuss the storage requirements with the business and application owners to prepare the capacity plan for the storage environment
- Install new / rebuild existing storage devices and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, access in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all storage hardware, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
