In my previous role, I was responsible for strategic direction on USAA’s KYC Program to help prevent money laundering during the various stages of a customer life cycle.

• Working knowledge of AML/ATF name scanning or transaction monitoring applications would be an asset
• To ensure adherence to market conduct (MAR and related ESMA regulations) to ensure that IBUK is not used for the purposes of market related financial crime
• To ensure that IBUK complies with its AML obligations by assisting the Money Laundering Reporting Officer ("MLRO") under UK and international laws and regulations pertaining to prevention of money laundering, through adequate policies, procedures and surveillance
• Assisting with the design and development of relevant market surveillance reports
• Assisting with the design and development of relevant market reporting
• Assisting with the design and development of relevant best execution surveillance reports
• Carrying out AML Monitoring for IBUK and IBUKL accounts and following up on any remedial action
• Assisting with the design and development of relevant AML reports

• Educational discipline in Life/Natural Science and/or Engineering
• Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, prefer working experience in machine learning models
• Strong working knowledge of India AMC primary applications ( Desert Rose, Newman )
• Proven knowledge and expertise in business and analytics, machine learning background and working experience preferred
• AML/OFAC related knowledge and/or working experience preferred
• CAMS, CFE or similar certification preferred
• Experience in conducting customer investigations, due diligence, and/or AML monitoring
• Experience at a financial institution or consulting firm preferred - Individual should have good analytical/investigative skills and understanding of KYC including CIP/CDD/EDD
