Completes yearly-required competency assessments as set by the Lead Ultrasonographer,
Demonstrates competency in the use of RIS/PACS and telephone systems appropriate for their job responsibilities
Assists physician or nurse with patient procedures
Assumes responsibility for cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
Maintains appropriate patient records and documentation
Communicates and interacts with patients/patients’ families, peers, supervisors, physicians and hospital personnel
Exhibits the ability to work with others, is considerate of others work ethics, follows and takes directions well
Accountable for quality of digital images sent to PACS. Verify correct patient is selected from work list, ensures accuracy of Medical Record information prior to being sent to PACS
