  • Partner and utilize Global Strategic Sourcing processes to identify, evaluate and select new suppliers
  • Negotiate and finalize supplier contracts, including service level agreements
  • Prepare budget and strategic plan for areas of responsibility
  • Work collaboratively with the Global Procurement team and the Canada business to identify, define and align on the mid to long term (minimum 3 years) requirements for the categories that drive productivity and innovation
  • Develop category sourcing strategy in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders
  • Support business team in resolving supplier issues - e.g. quality or commercial issues, etc
  • Other job duties as required
  • A Bachelor’s degree with MBA or Masters in Business Management is welcome
  • 5-10 years of continuous procurement experience in both leading buying categories and strategic sourcing in large scale organizations and spend in excess of 50MM$
  • Accomplished in working within a matrix environment, building strong cross-functional and cross-countries / regions relationships
  • The ability to develop, manage and apply strategy, as well as flawlessly execute on day-to-day tactical requirements.A strong acumen in strategic sourcing, with extensive negotiations experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • French and English speaking and writing a must
  • Must be willing to travel approximately 10-20% of her/his time
