  • Serves as the point person for assigned interfaces with the following responsibilities: coordinates analysis calls; maintains business requirements documentation; determines impact to interface; documents configuration and build changes needed; escalates issues or roadblocks encountered during analysis; performs configuration / build changes; coordinates or assists in all testing/validation of the interface and conversion; and assists with troubleshooting during testing and validation

  • Updates multiple masterfile records through an established chronicles import process. Follows change control management per established processes
  • Creates mapping documents (categories, tables, etc) for HL7 fields and sub-fields by collecting Epic system values and values from the other systems to serve as a central reference for doing mapping among the various systems
  • Sets up ID types for different masterfile records. Ensure data confirms to the rules of the id type record for integrity; ensure data from end users is unique and confirms to the id type definition
  • Education: BS or BA degree in IS or related business field preferred; or demonstrated, commensurate and directly applicable work experience
  • Experience: 3+ years of technical experience with Epic interface and legacy data migration / conversion highly desirable. Knowledge of hospital, clinic and Pharmacy operations
