  • Apply knowledge / understanding and previous experience in numerical analysis and CFD to make improvements to in-house CFD codes and critically validate these codes for specific aerodynamic applications
  • Utilize knowledge of aerodynamics to analyze experimental data base and CFD results towards improving prediction capabilities of in-house CFD codes
  • Work closely with teams of engineers located in India and in the US
  • Technical Knowledge – Must have strong background in Aerodynamics / Fluid Dynamics and numerical methods. Must have excellent background in CFD solver schemes, grid generation and flow physics modeling. Must have knowledge & experience related to programming languages (e.g. FORTRAN 90, C, C++), and post processing tools
  • Background in large scale parallel CFD computing is necessary
  • Familiarity with FORTRAN 90 and parallel programming with MPI, OpenMP is necessary
  • Background in Computational Aero-Acoustics (CAA) is desirable.Analytical Skills – Be able to demonstrate highly innovative and creative problem solving skills.
