• Be a qualified auto paint sprayer
• Have previous experience in auto body repairs and panel beating
• Have a UK full clean driving license (HGV desirable)
• Have a thorough knowledge of Health and Safety
• Clean and dry parts prior to applying paint
• Fill hoppers, reservoirs, troughs, or pans with material used to coat, paint, or spray, using conveyors, or pails
• Start and stop operation of machines, using levers or buttons
• Clean up per specifications for materials used

• Use of simple arithmetic together with simple drawings and specifications and some measuring devices
• Carry out all aspects of paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles, minor body repair work
• Prepare paint spraying equipment and bodywork of the car

• Managing inventory of paints and equipment

• Expertise in utilizing various spray painting tools and equipment such as pressure pots, spray guns, hoses, nozzles, gauges, cup guns, conveyor line, paint gun cleaner unit, protective spray painting equipment, paint shakers, and high-lifts
• Aptitude in using various hand tools, including wrenches, pliers, and hammers
• Can identify and correct paint defects
• Can adhere to work Instructions and clean paint equipment
