Liaise with business units to gather and regularly update the investor relations (IR) model with operating and financial information to be used for external disclosure
Assist with the preparation of marketing materials and the planning, coordination of roadshows, conferences, tours and investor days
Provide research and analysis of the capital markets, economic outlook, and company peers as well as advising on company ownership and marketing targets
Manage retail and institutional investors information requests through email and phone dialogues
Assist with the development and on-going management of the investor centre (IC) on suncor.com
3+ years of practical business experience in areas such as investment banking, finance/accounting, or third party marketing / fundraising firms
Previous oil and gas experience with a focus on oil sands is a strong asset
Undergraduate degree in business /commerce/finance
Possesses or is currently pursuing an accounting or finance designation (CA, CMA, CGA or CFA) is an asset
Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple presentations
Self starter displaying superior analytical, data interpretation, and problem solving skills combined with high attention to detail
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
