- Assures responsibilities for the patient flow and all other matters pertaining to patient care, ensures patient and employee safety
- Recommends action necessary for improvement of the overall discipline and other actions regarding personnel
- The technologist is directly involved in a variety of Echo and radiography procedures has an extensive experience with available ultrasound equipment in terms of product evaluation, troubleshooting and quality control

Echocardiographer Job Description
- RDMS or RDCS Certification
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Echocardiography school
- Must be ARDMS/RDCS certified
- Two years of echo experience preferred
- Perform echocardiograms tests/prodedures in accordance with American Society of Echocardiography standards, performing M-mode, 2D, pulse, continuous wave and color doppler

Echocardiographer Job Description
- Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy
- Provides input to staff performance evaluations
- Performs the duties of a staff technologist
- Coordinates with the System Administrator, fellow echo cardiologists, to ensure that there is necessary 24/7 personnel coverage
