ECHO Technologist Job Description
- Routinely performs high quality transthoracic studies on patients with congenital cardiac pathologies
- Performs clerical duties to include, filing of reports, forwarding reports to physicians’ offices
- Performs high quality diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound procedures
- Certification from an accredited school for Vascular Sonography or equivalent, Documented on-the-job training
- Current adult echo license of RDCS or CCI (required)

- Properly identify and orient patient to equipment, function and exam
- Maintain adequate records of all exams
- Complete required recordkeeping in a timely manner including IAC records
