Commercial driver
provides transportation services for Lumentum’s Logistics organization; heavy equipment (up to 60 pounds), inventory, parts, and crates.

A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Verify the load accuracy against the Bill of Lading and acquires the appropriate signatures
Expected to collect cash and checks from commercial customers
Provide important information to the Commercial Sales Specialist regarding competitor promotions, pricing, and feedback you receive from current commercial customers
Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order
Load carts or pallets on the delivery truck
Adhere to delivery time and schedules
Inspect cart castors and other equipment
Help with effective operation of the parts area in order to exceed expected sales goals of hard parts to retail, and commercial customers
Partner with the commercial teams for seamless parts delivery
