- Actively participates in quality patient care by providing safe delivery of ionizing radiation to patients, including utilization of optimal image acquisition techniques, panning, collimating and radiation shielding

- Assess patient condition, ensures patient safety through proper handling techniques and use of restraints as required and ensures proper physio-monitoring during stress tests
- Reviews each completed procedure for technical accuracy, presents completed procedure for cardiologist interpretation, and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure
- Operates, reviews orders, archives data, retrieve reports and assists in the maintenance of the EKG Management system
- Process all patients through the MediTech system to ensure proper documentation and billing information
- Reports all safety hazards and/or EKG equipment malfunctions that could harm patients, visitors or other hospital employee to appropriate supervisor immediately
- Maintains proper stocking and cleanliness of department rooms
- Establishes and maintains good rapport and working relationship with department staff, hospital staff, patients, families, physicians and hospital visitors
