In my previous role, I was responsible for training and support to faculty, staff and students on philosophy, policies and procedures related to equal access.

Please consider my experience and qualifications for this position:

• Customer service or optometric tech experience preferred
• Formal optometric assistant training from an accredited technical /vocational school
• Previous customer service or optometric tech experience preferred Computer and/or electronic medical records knowledge preferred Retail and/or hospitality and/or customer service experience preferred
• Previous customer service or optometric tech experience preferred Computer and/or electronic medical records knowledge preferred
• Assist physician in taking Vital Signs - BP, Temperature, Pulse, and Respiration
• Handles insurance information and forms as needed
• Preliminary testing entries and patient chief complaint, medical history, medications, and social history, previous/current contact lens and eyewear prescriptions, but not limited to these entries
• Assist the Optometrists the outside Opthalmologist
