- Triages patients presenting to the Emergency Department with real or threatened condition and performs rapid intervention and documents such
- Collaborates with the patient, family, and significant other to meet the educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient

ER RN Job Description
- Appropriately performs duties of a triage nurse when assigned
- Demonstrates the ability to start IV's administer medications and IV fluids, assess patient's response and titrate dosages as per physician order
- Manages critically ill patients during transfers to other departments or health care facilities
- Previous experience in Emergency Department nursing
- At least one year MedSurg experience
- Previous experience in Emergency Department nursing preferred
- Previous experience in Emergency Department nursing preferred with at least one year of experience on a Medical-Surgical Nursing Unit desired
- Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) a plus
- CPI within ninety (30) days from hire
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Epic proficient
- Current RN licensure in Texas
ER RN Job Description
- 1-2 years emergency department experience
- 1 year ED experience as a R.N preferred
- Current certification in specialty area preferred
- Current AHA BLS card and ACLS required
- Acute Care experience required, Emergency Department experience preferred
- Based on location assignment may also require BLS/ACLS/PALS
- At least one year of experience on a Medical-Surgical Nursing Unit desired
- 1 years current acute care registered nursing experience in specialty area required
- ACLS require
- Minimum one (1) year current acute care registered nursing experience in specialty area required
- ENPC required within 90 days of hire
