Server Cover Letter

In my previous role, I was responsible for positive guest relations at all times • Greet and seat guests, anticipating and responding promptly to their needs • Take orders and serve guests with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy under variable working conditions • Provide recommendations to customers through your knowledge of all ingredients and characteristics of the food and beverage offerings • Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages to guests, including preparation of espresso-based drinks.

Please consider my experience and qualifications for this position:

• Utilize a "Captain's Pad" correctly and for the sake of communication
• Relays orders to bar and kitchen as appropriate by recording member/guest selections, identifying any special requests and keying orders into register
• May verify amount in cash drawer and balance drawer against receipts
• Carries dirty dishes to kitchen
