• Holder of a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in plumbing and heating

• Strong abilities in reading drawings and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)

• Broad trade knowledge or specific technical education received from a formal apprentice or vocational training program of up to 18 months beyond high school in the piping or steam-fitting field
• Knowledge of P&ID interpretation, mathematics, triangulation of complex offsets
• Able to electrofuse, socket fuse and butt fuse
• Mechanical aptitude necessary
• GTAW – GMAW – FCAW – SMAW experience
• Cutting pipe and threading
