Responsibilities for Automotive Mechanic Cover Letter
Automotive mechanic responsible for unit direct support and general support (DS/GS) Maintenance function, including overhaul, but not rebuild of power generation equipment, internal combustion engines and associated equipment up through 200KW generators.
Knowledge of mechanical operations of multiple types of vehicles including shuttle bus, trucks, vans
Tire and Lube experience
Provide general maintenance and repairs of vehicles to include trailers, cars, and pickups
Provide maintenance and repair activities on brake-systems, electrical systems, and other components of auto vehicles
Change oil and other fluids, grease, inspect, and perform other maintenance and repairs to ensure efficient operation of fleet vehicles
Road test vehicles and perform diagnostic tests
Fill in as spotter when needed
Able to work all shifts including weekends/holidays
