  • Analysing private markets opportunities in Asia Pacific and potentially other regions
  • As part of a global infrastructure team, supporting Mercer's senior infrastructure specialist in Asia Pacific in the management of accounts, and where appropriate provide more routine advice and consulting services to clients investing in infrastructure, including
  • Portfolio construction
  • Portfolio management
  • Fund manager selection and deployment; and
  • Direct and co‑investment
  • Supporting other wider private markets investment due diligence, consulting and portfolio management work by senior specialists in the region
  • Participating in meetings with private markets investment managers and clients
  • Contributing to periodic research papers and other material providing information on market opportunities and developments relevant to private markets investment
  • Developing and maintain professional working relations with other Mercer professionals
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics or other business-related areas with strong quantitative and analytical course content
  • Ideally, a minimum of 2 years’ job-related experience
  • Prior background potentially in deal origination, asset management, due diligence, financing or portfolio management
  • Solid spreadsheet and quantitative skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, with ability to relate to clients and stakeholders
  • Good organisational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines
