  • Communicate practice trends to quality department and assesses and reports financial impact to the organization
  • Develop and conduct educational programs based on auditing results
  • Continuously monitor Recovery Audit Contractors, intermediary websites and publications and communicate pertinent information to appropriate departments and management
  • Current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Five (5+) years of Home Care experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Conditions of Participation for Home Care and state regulatory bodies preferred
  • Knowledge of updated coding compliance guidelines, coding clinic references and CMS regulations
  • Successful certification in OASIS and HCS-D coding within first 9 months of tenure in position
  • Ability to work well independently and on a team
  • Must have excellent oral and communication skills and be able to develop a positive working relationship with assigned stakeholders
  • Ability to present information effectively
