- Working from Monday’s to Friday’s from 7H00am to 19H00pm but not limited to shifts, overtime and standby to ensure 24-hour availability of Container handling equipment
- Place the correct equipment under the outrigger pads of the crane (normally these are timber blocks, but they can be steel plates depending upon the condition of site)
- Check that the crane is level on the outriggers before attempting to lift and place a load

- Prior to crane operations, a daily maintenance inspection of the crane must be properly performed and documented
- Operate motor graders, dozers, and excavators to grade construction sites, to establish sub-grade lines, cut roadways, swales
- Operates gasoline or diesel powered trucks or truck tractors with trailer or semi-trailer, front-end loaders, grade-all, backhoes, trench diggers, forklifts, pavement cutters, bobcat, and related attachments
- Maintains required equipment logs
- Have proficient working knowledge of and be able to use different sets of controls and is able to position equipment in close or confined areas
- Interpret project drawings surveyed/marked grade stakes and shape the terrain to fit the intent of the designer
