Previously, I was responsible for support for IT systems in the facility, including, but not limited to: Shop Floor Systems (SFS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Virtual and Physical servers, LAN/WAN equipment, desktop computers and laptops.

I reviewed the requirements of the job opening and I believe my candidacy is an excellent fit for this position. Some of the key requirements that I have extensive experience with include:

• Technical skill is acquired and needed to ensure the smooth operation and minimize maintenance downtime
• Constant standing and moving about
• Constant handling and bending at the waist
• Constant lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs (sometimes 50lbs)
• Occasionally pushing up to 250 lbs and moving up to 900 lbs using a pallet jack
• Work is indoors and occasionally outdoors
• Welding training or experience preferred
• Basic computer (spreadsheets, docs, email, web based apps)

• Utilize production output and equipment downtime data to make changes and improve blow mold results
• Maximize performance of blow mold equipment
• Have basic mechanical and electrical skills
• Troubleshoot equipment problems, make repairs and document adjustments
• Read blueprints and technical manuals (mechanical and electrical)
• Preserve blow mold equipment through proper cleaning and sanitation
• Produce quality product through tight monitoring of process, raw materials and finished products

In the previous role, I was responsible for supervisory and administrative support to a Maintenance team of up to 20 skilled trades across 2 shifts consisting of mechanical, electrical, and tooling technicians.

• Adhere to good housekeeping standards and good manufacturing practices throughout the plant
• Use machinist measuring tools
• Use electrical test instrumentation
• Have good communication skills to work with plant personnel and vendors
• Ensure quality control standards
• Record manufacturing related data on PC workstations in their area such as SAP and maintenance systems
• Read manufacturing instructions, manual and technical blueprints (mechanical and electrical)
• Standard practices in maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical components
