Previously, I was responsible for patient care during Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, such as left and right heart caths, temporary pacemakers, angioplasties/stent, IABP etc.

• Experience with MediTech system, preferred
• Able to arrive to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call
• Experience in a Cath Lab is preferred
• Demonstrated strong clinical background in Telemetry nursing will be considered
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac rhythms, basic 12-lead ECG interpretation and cardiac hemodynamics

• ACLS Certification current or within 90 days of hire/transfer to department
• Valid Minnesota RN License
• BSN, or enrolled in a BSN completion program
• RN work experience in a Cath Lab or IR or procedural setting

• Current American Heart Association Provider BLS Within 90 days of hire
• Conscious sedation and radiation safety competency within 90 days of hire

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Registered Nurse state license
• Certification of completion of basic EKG and dysrhythmia course
• Completion of hospital Dysrhythmia exam within allotted time frame
• Previous cardiovascular nursing experience preferred
• Current acute clinical care experience and successfully completes a specialty course within 6 months of hire if no critical care experience
