• Phlebotomy course/certificate and experience in a hospital clinical laboratory is most desirable
• Additional college level education in the Laboratory Science field is also desirable
• Certification from an accredited Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant program is preferred
• Minimum 6 months experience performing phlebotomy is preferred
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent), completion of a color blind evaluation
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record, successful completion of a color blind evaluation
• Six months of experience in blood-drawing techniques, preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent and previous phlebotomy experience, or completion of a Phlebotomy course of study with externship
