• Graduate or soon to be graduate of an approved Music Therapy Program – Certified Music Therapist (CMT), Music Practitioner Program - Certified Music Practitioner (CMP), or Music for Healing and Transition Program (MHTP)
• Previous home care, hospice or health related field is preferred
• Valid New York State driver’s license and available automobile for travel throughout the service area
• Experience working with computers, including laptops, email, cell phone and basic software programs along with confidence in providing electronic clinical notes and documentation regarding patient sessions
• Completion of an approved music therapy program
• Holds and maintains MT-BC licensure
• Continuing education to maintain certification
• Preferred prior experience as a music therapist
