• Mathematics Standard Grade 3 or above
• Use of some judgment to comply with instructions, prescribed routines, methods
• Basic blue print reading, measuring equipment and basic machine shop fundamentals
• Strong mechanical aptitude, good computer skills with Microsoft office experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, experience working with hand tools, metal working tools and Computer Numeric Controlled equipment
• Registered Machinist Apprentice and/or completion of a recognized post-secondary machinist trade program
• Experience with raisebore application or underground drilling is preferred
• Non-destructive training including magnetic particle training in line with materials physics
• Experience using manual lathes and CNC machines
