• Assumes responsibility for the procurement and maintenance of transport supplies and equipment
• Assumes responsibility for communicating with the referring facility and the physician on call to decide, based on predetermined guidelines, the mode of transport- ground or air
• Maintains competency in usage of all transport related equipment and supplies
• Maintains competency concerning all protocols for ground and air transport
• Maintains competency (biannually) in ambulance, helicopter, and fixed wing aircraft safety competency caring for patients in those environments

• Pediatric ICU or ED RN experience at a Level 1 or 2 trauma Center or regional/tertiary care center NOT including Neonatal ICU
• Paramedic License in the State of Michigan (Active)
• Committee or Unit Involvement
• Nursing Certifications in current specialty

• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider - Provided During Orientation
• BSN or enrolled in BSN program in accordance with TGH Magnet designation standards
