• Recent GI tech experience in a clinical setting
• Current Texas license/certification as an Endoscopy Tech preferred
• Previous employment or training as an Endoscopy Technician, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, or other medical specialty such as Central Service Technician preferred
• Previous experience in endoscopy setting preferred
• Hospital experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred

• Graduate of an approved Medical Technician Program

• Completion of a Nursing Assistant, Clinical Technician training program or LPN Program strongly preferred
• Successful completion of a comprehensive Unit-based competency program
