• Able to prepare, interpret and design bore plans precisely
• Able to navigate an Apple or Samsung tablet and use email
• Good knowledge on preventative maintenance and trouble shooting of HDD equipment
• Demonstrates solid understanding of geometric planning and surveying computation techniques
• Assists the technicians in the workshop to inspect, repair and prepare directional drilling tools and motors
• Demonstrates knowledge in conventional and rotary steerable technology

• Extensive experience in Geothermal Drilling
• Thorough knowledge of state-of-the-art drilling and surveying technologies and Geothermal drilling practices
• Torque, Drag & Hydraulic, Anti-collision, and Stuck pipe prevention specifically in Geothermal Drilling
• Previous directional drilling experience preferred but not essential
• Experience on the use of rotary steerable assembly is preferred
• Experience with and knowledge of Advantage Engineering and/or other Directional Drilling software is desirable
• Experience of AutoTrak or other Rotary Steerable Systems is preferred
• Deep water directional drilling experience would be beneficial

• Assists in the completion of a daily DD report, BHA performance report for each BHA run, completion of all service tickets and relevant paperwork (well data spreadsheet, lesson learned/best practice, End of Job Customer Survey (EJCS) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) forms)
• Assists in the inspection of all DD company equipment delivered on the work site
• Maintains records of all DD equipment at well site including dimensional data and condition
• Ensure that all equipment is laid out after use in accordance with company procedures and manifested for backload at the end of the job
• Operates Directional Drill for installation of underground telecommunications cable conduit, including fiber optic cable
