Responsibilities for Caption Writer Cover Letter
Caption writer responsible for realtime caption services; coordinating activities with Master Control at WGBH and other client broadcast facilities; establishing monitoring via satellite downlink, audio line, or web; establishing caption transmission connection via modem or web; realtime line by line transmission of captions; coordination with onsite and remote stenocaptioners for live writing of captions; review and cleanup of completed captions for archiving and file delivery; and other duties as required.
