- Technical understanding of file-based workflows, frame rates, raster sizes, and file formats
- Experience working within a shared storage and network environment
- Assist with any and all department requests and projects
- High level of design aesthetics

Responsibilities for Avid Editor Cover Letter
Avid editor responsible for top-layer Maintenance & Support to our Avid systems, in a 24/7 busy newsroom environment.
Knowledge of working in an Avid Interplay environment
A good knowledge of Photoshop, Xpress DV, AfterFX, is an advantage
Strong knowledge of Avid Symphony/Interplay edit systems and FX editing
Strong knowledge of other NLE’s is helpful
Strong knowledge of file-based formats
A good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects and Photoshop is an advantage
o Fluency with AVID Media Composer, Production Management (Interplay), Media Central and NEXIS
o Strong working knowledge of Windows
